Welcome to the MarketLine Store user guide. If you can’t find what you’re looking for below, or need further assistance, please get in touch with our support team.

Registering – Getting started

Before you can purchase our research, you need to register:
Once you’ve filled out the registration form, we will send you a verification email. Click on the link to confirm, and then log in.

Registration Form

Fill out the registration form with all your details – remember to complete all sections marked with an asterisk (*).

Please provide a current, valid email address, as this is where your verification email will be sent.

Log in and log out – entering and leaving the Store

To log in:

  1. Click on the login link in the top right-hand corner of the Business Insights Store page.
  2. Enter your email address and password into the Returning visitors login box on the left of the screen, and click ‘login’.
  3. You will be taken back to the Business Insights Store page where the login link will be replaced with ‘Welcome back (Your Name)’, followed by the logout link.

To log out:

Simply click on the logout link at the top or bottom of your screen.

Passwords

Choose a password of at least five characters – at least one of these should be non-alphanumerical. Your password is case sensitive. A message will appear if your chosen password is not suitable.

Changing your password

To change your password, log in and click on the Edit my profile link on the My Account tab. Click on Change password in Profile options and enter your old password, then your new password twice. Click on ‘submit’ to save your new password.

Forgotten your password?

After submitting an incorrect password three times, your username will be locked. To unlock it, follow the procedure for forgotten passwords and a new password will be sent to you.

  1. Click on the Forgotten password? link above the login button on your login page
  2. Enter your registration email address
  3. Answer the security question (chosen by you during registration)
  4. Click on ‘submit’
  5. Your password will be emailed to you
  6. Retrieve your password from your email

If you cannot remember the email address you registered with, please contact our support team.

If your email address changes, please visit the My Account page and click on Account Details to change it.

My account – your personal information portal

The My Account tab in the top right-hand corner the site allows you to access all the research you have purchased, your personal details, and invoices.

  • Account Details – view and update your email address, password, personal details, and billing address
  • Product Library – all purchased products are located here
  • Recently Accessed Product – a quick link to products you have recently accessed in your Product Library
  • Order History – access your online invoices and track your purchase history

Searching and browsing – finding what you’re looking for

Business Insights’ Store has a simple and intuitive design so you can find what you’re looking for quickly and easily. You may search and browse the Store without registering.

To search, enter your search term or word(s) into the empty ‘magnifying glass’ field at the top of the page. You can refine your search results using the categories listed on left-hand side of your results page – for example, by industry, geography, or strategic issue.

To browse, click on your particular industry of interest on the Store homepage, and then find what you’re looking for by scanning through the research list provided.

Buying research – purchasing your chosen products

License types

Any research you purchase from our Store is subject to one of two license agreements – a single user license, or a multi-user license. These specify how you may use the research that you’ve purchased. Select the license type that applies to your needs using the drop down menu in the shopping cart.

  • A single user license entitles only one user to use the research
  • A multi-user license enables the purchaser to share the research with colleagues in the same company

Full details of our license agreement can be found in section 13 of our Terms and Conditions of purchase. This should be read in conjunction with the full Terms and Conditions of purchase.  By purchasing research on the Business Insights Store you are accepting these conditions.

Currencies

All pricing is quoted and charged in United States Dollars (USD).

To help you convert this into your local currency, we’ve provided a convenient link to the currency exchange website, XE.com. This will give you an idea of the rates at your time of enquiry. The link is located within the My Shopping Cart box.

Promotions – redeeming special offers

To take advantage of any special offers, you first need to register on the Business Insights Store.

  • Using a promotional code
    Add your chosen research report to your shopping cart, enter the promotional code into the special offer box, and click apply.
  • Payment
    For immediate access to your research, pay by credit card. Alternatively, fill out your billing address details to pay by invoice.
  • Order confirmation
    If all your payment details are correct click complete order to process your purchase. Your research will then be available in your Product Library.
