Soft Drinks in the BRICs – China to outgrow Brazil by 2015
MarketLine’s Soft Drinks in the BRIC report reveals that Brazil is currently the largest soft drinks market amongst the BRIC nations, with market revenues of $28,726 million in 2010. Brazil, Russian Federation, India and China (BRIC) are the emerging and fast growing countries within the soft drinks industry and had a total market value of $73,120.9 million in 2010.
Carbonates sales proved the most lucrative for the Brazilian soft drinks market in 2010, generating total revenues of $15 billion, equivalent to 52.2% of the market’s overall value.
The performance of the market is forecast to accelerate, with an anticipated CAGR of 5.5% for the five year period 2010-2015, which is expected to drive the market to a value of $37.5 billion by the end of 2015.
